Caddi has been named a finalist in the 2026 XYPN AdviceTech Competition. Sixty companies applied this year and six were selected. The finalists demo live on the Expo Stage at XYPN LIVE 2026 in San Diego on Wednesday, September 30, competing for Best in Show and the attendee-voted Advicer's Choice.
XY Planning Network is the largest network of fee-only financial advisors, and its AdviceTech Competition has become one of the places where advisor technology gets discovered: past finalists have gone on to become fixtures of the independent RIA stack. This year's theme is “Tools for the Modern Advicer,” and the finalists were selected on one criterion: the impact of the solution in helping real firms run better and deliver more meaningful advice.
The finalists were unveiled in a live session on August 18 hosted by XYPN's Dave Bowman, CFP®, with fintech commentator Jason Pereira, MBA, CFA, CFP®, and Amy DeTolla, founder of Aureus Advantage. Discussing Caddi, Pereira pointed at the part we care most about: you do not build the agent, you show it. Record your screen while you do the work the way you normally do it, and Caddi turns that recording into an agent that runs the workflow, trained on your firm and your tools. In his words, it takes the promise of automation and AI and makes it “as button-push as possible.” DeTolla made the case from the firm owner's side: advisors do not want to become AI engineers, they want the work done, without throwing out the processes they already run.
We are in good company. The other 2026 finalists are Slant CRM, Wealthreach, Sage Content, Canyon Ops, and Hazel. Between them the class covers the CRM, growth, content, service delivery, and planning sides of an advisory firm; Caddi is the one doing the back office.
