Caddi today launched Discovery, a new capability that finds the repetitive work inside a firm before anyone has to name it. Discovery reads activity across the tools a team already works in, spots the tasks that happen the same way again and again, and lists them ranked by the hours a year each one costs. Every finding can be turned into a working automation with one click.
Most repetitive work never shows up on a list, and not because it is quick. Prepare the notes before a call, schedule it, log the outcome after: ten minutes each time, eight times a week, across three tools that do not talk to each other. Sixty-nine hours a year, on one task nobody ever named. Discovery is built for that gap: a firm does not have to know what to automate, only which tools to connect.
How it works
- Connect the tools you already use. Email, calendar, CRM, documents, chat, e-signature, accounting. Access is read only, and Caddi can never change or move anything.
- Run Discovery. It reads recent activity across those tools in the background, usually in 15 to 30 minutes, and confirms each pattern before it shows it.
- Read the findings. Each one names the task, shows what Caddi saw, explains why it is worth automating, carries a confidence level, and estimates the hours a year it takes.
- Build it. Press Build this and Caddi Studio opens with the finding staged. Loopy drafts the plan, you approve it, and the loop runs on the work already waiting.
“Every ops leader we talk to knows their team is doing repetitive work. Almost none of them can tell you exactly where, because the work is small and it hides inside the tools. Discovery goes and looks. It comes back with the list, the evidence, and the hours, and then it builds the fix.”
Jason Alafgani, Caddi
Discovery is the first chapter of how Caddi works. Caddi discovers a firm's most repetitive back-office work, its people train agents on each process over chat and screenshare, and leadership governs every run under full audit. Until now the first step depended on someone knowing what to point Caddi at. Now Caddi points itself.
Availability
Discovery is available today in every Caddi workspace, including the free Individual plan. Open the Discovery tab, connect at least two tools, and press Run Discovery.
