These two products start on opposite sides of the firm. Mili began as a meeting agent for financial advisors: meeting prep, notes taken without a bot joining the call, follow-up emails and CRM updates. In February 2026 it launched Mili Office, which lets an advisor ask questions across the CRM, planning software, calendar and custodian in one conversation and run scheduled workflows such as pre-meeting briefs. Caddi starts in operations, with the work that happens after the meeting: account opening, custodian paperwork, reconciliation, billing and the CRM upkeep nobody owns.

Front office and back office are different jobs
An advisor's work is open-ended. Every client meeting is different, and the useful help is an assistant that remembers the history, answers a question like “which clients completed a Roth conversion in 2025?”, and drafts the recap. That is the job Mili describes, and its own about page makes the case for AI that “can actually think, adapt” rather than “deterministic software.”
Operations work is the opposite. The morning reconciliation, the account-opening queue and the quarterly fee run should happen the same way every time, and when an examiner asks what happened on an account, the answer has to be a record, not a recollection. Caddi runs those processes as verified code, calls AI only for the judgment steps inside a run, such as reading a document or triaging an email, and logs every step so it can be reviewed.
Who finds the work, who builds it, who oversees it
Mili ships a set of named agents: meeting, scheduling, data management, onboarding, prospect research, compliance, digital marketing and documents. Caddi starts one step earlier. Discover reads the tools your team already uses and ranks the repeated work by the hours it takes. Automate turns a finding into a running automation, built by the person who does the work by showing it once. Govern gives leadership one view of what runs across the firm, by team and by owner.

Frequently asked questions
Is Caddi an alternative to Mili?
For some of the same firms, but for different work. Mili is built for the advisor: it prepares for client meetings, takes notes without a bot joining the call, drafts follow-ups, syncs the CRM, and with Mili Office answers questions across the advisor's systems. Caddi is built for the operations team: Discover finds the repetitive back-office work across your systems, Automate turns each workflow into an automation the person who does it builds by showing it once, and Govern gives leadership one view of every run. Many firms will want both.
Does Caddi take meeting notes?
No. Caddi does not record or summarize client meetings. If your advisors want meeting prep, notes and follow-up emails, a meeting agent such as Mili is built for that. Caddi picks up the operational work that follows: the account opening, the custodian paperwork, the CRM and billing updates, the reconciliation.
What is the difference between Mili Office and Caddi?
Mili Office is an advisor's assistant: one conversation across the CRM, planning software, calendar and custodian, plus scheduled workflows like pre-meeting briefs and review outreach. Caddi runs the back-office processes themselves end to end, across 150+ tools, as automations that run the same way every time, with every run logged and reviewable.
Which is more reliable for high-volume operations work?
For work that has to come out the same every time, such as reconciliation, account opening or quarterly billing, Caddi runs the fixed steps as verified code and uses AI only for the judgment steps inside a run, each one scoped and logged. Mili describes its approach as AI that 'can actually think, adapt', which suits an advisor's open-ended questions. For a process you want done one way at volume, deterministic execution is the safer default.
Does Caddi help decide what to automate?
Yes. Discover connects read-only to the tools your team already uses, finds the work people keep repeating, and ranks it by estimated hours, so the first automation is chosen from evidence rather than guessed at.
Is Caddi only for wealth management?
No. Caddi automates RIA and wealth management operations, and runs the same platform for law firms, accounting firms, insurance, banks and private equity. Mili is built specifically for wealth advisors.
Can I try Caddi without a sales call?
Yes. The Individual plan is free and includes Discover and Automate. Govern, the firm-wide view, starts on the Team plan.
